Can Adding a Closet Organizer Help Sell Your Home Faster?

Thank you for revisiting you can still subscribe to my RSS feed. As Always Thank You for visiting!

It is possible to sell your home faster by adding a closet organizer.  In today’s market any gadget that de-clutters or stages your home adds value because it helps sell your home faster.

The closet organizer is probably the last thing that you would think of that could assist in helping you sell your home faster because you may be thinking who cares about closet space.  Think about it.  In an era, where we have more things and especially clothes than we know what to do with it is very important to know if you can store all your prized possessions in an organized de-cluttered way.   The closet organizer allows us to be able to do that.

The closet organizer also keeps us from buying duplicate items because we will be able to find or see the items in the closet.

There are several options in closet organizing.  You can utilize online design tools that have customer support at easyclosets.com or easytrack.com.  You can also get in store consultation at Closet Maid and MasterSuite.  These products are found in Home Depot and Lowe’s.    Whichever way you choose keep your budget in mind.  Closet Maid’s options range from $43 to $122, MasterSuite line range from $700 to $900 for the shelving units only.

No matter what option you choose do not forget lighting.  It is not only important to organize the closet, but it is equally important to see the items in the closet.  To add the all important lights are simple and inexpensive if you use LED puck lights that stick or screw in.  You can get three for $30 at www.shopgetorganized.com.  If you need or think there is a need for pivoting lights then you can purchase those for $20 at www.improvementscatalog.com.

Making a small closet seem bigger by adding a closet organizer is additional way to help your home sell faster; thereby, hopefully reducing the time on the market and allowing you to sell at a higher amount.
