Did the filming of Transformers 3 increase the value of your home? The answer is yes and no. Yes, if your home is located in the area where the filming is taking place.

However, I can not say no if your home is not located near the set either because value of a home is indirectly and directly affect by several factors.

The value of a home is affected by:
1. surrounding homes and condition of those homes
2. recent sales of homes in the area or neighborhood
3. the condition of the home, itself
4. market trends

Indirectly, the value of your home maybe affected by:
1. economical changes in the area
a. job losses or factory closing
b. job opening or factory opening
2. and yes, it is indirectly affected by the filming of Transformers 3

The reason this film may have an indirect increase in value becasue it increase the interest in the city because Hollywood is interested. Think about it, whenever media is interested the public is interested, so celebrate your property value increase.

  1. Chicago Reality Realty says:

Everyone wants them to go away. No one in Chicago wants them there but they paid the city a certain wad of cash for an arrangement. The cheering crowds in the reports is the movie “crew” cheering on their own production, the public not being allowed on the set. The noise and traffic misdirection alone is intolerable and unwanted. The unwanted damage they are doing and have already done is not known and won’t be assessed for who knows how long. The kids roaring about it on internet blogs are the marketing forces used to troll market this movie on the internet. Hardly an adoring public of fans of this unwanted rubbish.

If they leave Chicago very early it wouldn’t surprise anyone. Everyone wants them to go away now and never come back.
