Having personal space is a necessity when you work all day, but did you know that personal space can be created in your home?  To create personal space or a personal room, you need to find a place that you have th most solitude in.  Then, bring into that space all the things that you enjoy.

Comfort is the most important thing in a personal space or room, so create seating area that is comfortable and adds serenity by filling the space or room with your favorite books, music, plants, etc.

If the room is just a space, it would beneficial to address all the uses of the room.  To make the space personal, address seating, storage, usage, lighting, and ambience with fabrics, color, and textures that have your personal flair in them.

It is equally effective to cluster area such as, a conversational area, dining area, etc.

Next, fill the room with decor that allows you to relax no matter what mood you are in when you arrive in the space.  You may consider favorite photographs, decorative boxes, pillows, etc.

If you have a hobby that helps you relax make the theme of the space around that hobby.

Creation of a personal space at home can be easier than you think to create if you consider your need to relax.
